B2B Auctions A/S is a Danish auction house aimed at professional buyers, and its catalogue has an unusual centre of gravity: a large share of the stock comes from the Danish Defence Acquisition and Logistics Organisation and from the emergency services. Alongside that it sells contractor machinery, transport and agricultural equipment. For anyone looking for ex-military or ex-blue-light material in Scandinavia, this is a more direct route than a general auction site.
What you can buy
- Defence materiel (FMI): equipment released by the Danish defence procurement organisation.
- Emergency services equipment (beredskab): material from the civil protection and rescue services.
- Contractor and heavy machinery: plant from construction and civil works.
- Transport: trucks and vehicles — a Volkswagen T-Roc 2.0 TSI 4Motion was open at DKK 75,000 and a Caravelle 4Motion at DKK 56,000 when we checked, alongside motorcycles such as a Yamaha FJR1300ABS at DKK 10,200.
- Agriculture: tractors and implements.
- Industry and general: the remaining business assets.
How the bidding works
Lots are grouped into zones with a stated closing date and time, and they close in sequence within a zone — the times run a few minutes apart, so a zone empties gradually rather than all at once. Register to bid. For sellers the house advertises fast settlement through an independent bank and a no-risk model, and it offers a storage option (lagerhotel) that reduces logistics costs; for buyers that storage is worth knowing about if you cannot collect immediately.
What to check before you bid
Ex-defence and emergency-services equipment carries its own questions. Some material is sold demilitarised or with restrictions on onward sale and export, and road registration of a vehicle that has spent its life on a base is not automatic — check what documentation comes with the lot and what your own country requires before bidding. Collection is organised by zone, so confirm which zone a lot belongs to and what the deadline is. The site is Danish; contact is info@b2bauctions.dk or +45 70 25 14 14.
