Carwow is best known to the British public as a car-buying site, and this is the other half of that business: the dealer auction where the cars it takes in are sold on. The volume it publishes is substantial — more than twenty thousand vehicles a month across sixty-five-plus brands, with sales running Monday to Saturday and fresh stock added daily.
What you can buy
- Used cars across the full range, hatchbacks through to hybrids.
- Electric and hybrid vehicles.
- Vans and light commercials.
How the bidding works
Auctions run daily rather than in scheduled sales. The platform's own emphases are the practical ones for a dealer: low buyer fees with no subscription, listings carrying service history, background checks and condition images, payment through its own wallet, and collection of the seller's documents handled by Carwow rather than by the buyer.
What to check before you bid
This is a dealer channel — the whole product sits under Carwow's partner section and the terms are dealer terms, so a private buyer has no route in here. Vehicles come from private sellers via Carwow's consumer side, which means the condition report is the platform's own assessment rather than a trade inspection; read it in full, and note that a private-seller origin changes the consumer-law position compared with buying trade stock.
