Aukcje EFL

Aukcje EFL is the disposal channel of Europejski Fundusz Leasingowy S.A., the Wroclaw leasing company that owns and operates the site (KRS 0000026609, head office at ul. Legnicka 48). Stock is post-lease and ex-fleet, and the rules are explicit that a lot may belong either to EFL or to another owner that has authorised EFL to sell it - a handful run under an "Aukcje - Partner EFL" banner. Ex-fleet cars come in through the site's Carefleet channel. About two thirds of the lots sit at EFL's post-lease sales centre, ul. Europejska 2 in Magnice, south of Wroclaw.

What you can buy

• Cars and vans: high-mileage company cars - Skoda Octavia, Audi A3 and A4, Mercedes C 200, Hyundai Kona - plus Fiat Ducato, Renault Master and Iveco vans.
• Trucks and trailers: DAF XF and XG tractor units, MAN chassis, curtainsiders and tipping trailers, motorcycles and quads.
• Construction and farm machinery: scissor lifts such as the Genie GS-5390, excavators and wheel loaders, forklifts and warehouse handling gear, farm and forestry machines.
• Production machinery: CNC turning and drilling centres, sawmills and woodworking plant, metalworking and plasma cutting, plastics, packaging, printing, food and bakery equipment, refrigeration and HVAC.
• Office and IT: laptops, desktops, monitors, servers, software, furniture, medical and beauty devices.

How the bidding works

Registration is for organisations, not consumers: the account-type list runs from sole trader through the partnership and company forms to co-operatives, individual farmers, foundations, associations and state bodies, and the rules define a bidder as an adult who is not a consumer, a legal person or a comparable entity. An administrator vets each new account before it can bid. Three formats run: Licytacja, a timed auction closing at a stated date and time, usually within a week; Kup Teraz, a buy-now price that disappears once the first bid lands or the reserve is reached; and Outlet, an invitation to negotiate through the "Zapytaj o produkt" enquiry form. Proxy bidding is standard: you set a hidden maximum and the system bids in steps of PLN 10, 100 or 200, by opening price. Some lots carry an undisclosed reserve, and while the "cena minimalna nie zostala osiagnieta" notice stands, the bids do not bind EFL. No deposit is needed, but after the knock-down you have seven days to pay by transfer and collect.

What to check before you bid

Prices are quoted net of VAT, so add the Polish rate, normally 23 percent. Where the rate depends on paperwork you must supply, EFL collects a refundable 23 percent deposit alongside the price and returns it within 14 days of receiving your documents. Statutory warranty is excluded, EFL gives no guarantee, bidding counts as accepting the condition without reservation, and EFL will not replace missing equipment. Condition reports are detailed - one Octavia listing recorded oil leaks, an active NOx warning, worn brakes and corrosion - but the rules call every photo and description illustrative only and put the onus on you to inspect the lot in person. Reports, rules and site are Polish only. Read the location line on each lot: Carefleet cars often sit at third-party dealers in Warsaw, Poznan or Jawornik rather than in Magnice. Collection, loading, transport and risk from handover are yours, EFL pays nothing towards travel or haulage, and a proxy collector needs an original written authorisation. Seven days to pay and clear a lot is tight cross-border.
