NetSubasta runs online vehicle auctions in Spain, and its filter list tells you what the business actually is: alongside the usual make and model, you choose the vehicle's state — accident-damaged, mechanically failed, external damage, internal damage, excess mileage, unused, fire-damaged, flooded, flooded with bodywork damage, or undamaged. That taxonomy is the taxonomy of an insurance write-off channel, and it is the most precise damage grading of any Spanish platform we track. The operator also offers claims appraisal (tasación de siniestros), which explains where the stock comes from.
What you can buy
- Cars and light commercials (turismos y vehículos comerciales): the bulk of the catalogue.
- Trucks and tractor units (camiones y tractoras).
- Motorcycles and scooters.
- Every fuel type including electric, hybrid, LPG and CNG — worth noting, because a damaged electric vehicle is a different repair proposition from a damaged petrol one.
How the bidding works
Registration is required to bid. The site publishes separate guides for buying and selling and — unusually for this market — a public fee schedule (tarifas), so the cost side can be checked before you register rather than after.
What to check before you bid
Read the damage state on every lot and treat the categories as legally meaningful, not descriptive: a flooded vehicle and one with external damage are different repair, insurance and resale propositions, and a fire-damaged car may be economically finished. Confirm what documentation comes with the vehicle — Spanish write-offs can carry restrictions on re-registration — and price transport, because a non-runner needs a transporter and the vehicle sits wherever the seller keeps it.
