2ndMove is Europcar's own remarketing platform — the channel through which one of Europe's largest rental fleets disposes of its vehicles. That single-source origin is the point: the stock is ex-rental, the service history belongs to the group, and the brand mix follows what a European rental fleet actually buys.

• Ex-rental cars from the volume European brands — Peugeot, Renault, Opel, VW, Fiat, Kia, Skoda and others.
• Vans and trucks, in a separate search.
• Electric and hybrid vehicles.

How the bidding works

Three auction formats run under their own names — dynamic-move, realtime-move and online-move — alongside a direct-move fixed-price channel, and the search lets you filter by which one applies. That distinction matters: a real-time sale and a timed one need different preparation. Registration is by online application rather than instant signup.

What to check before you bid

Access is for the trade and the application is reviewed. Ex-rental vehicles are maintained on schedule but hard-used and high-mileage for their age, which is the trade-off in this segment. Which country a vehicle is in decides both transport and VAT; the search does not always make that prominent, so check it per lot.
