Arval Trading is the international remarketing arm of Arval, the long-term leasing and fleet management group. It sells used vehicles to motor trade buyers across borders and reports around 340,000 vehicles a year, of which roughly a quarter are electric. The selling point is not just the stock but the paperwork: the company handles customs, administration and transport into more than 29 destination countries as an authorised customs exporter.
What you can buy
- Ex-lease passenger cars coming off fleet contracts.
- Electric and hybrid vehicles — a large and growing share.
- Vans and light commercials.
How the bidding works
Buying runs through MotorTrade, the group's online platform: you register as a trade buyer, choose an auction and bid, with a dedicated sale contact assigned to the account. Because the vehicles come off the group's own leases, the history is known rather than reconstructed — that is the main argument for buying here rather than at a mixed-source sale.
What to check before you bid
This is a trade channel, not a retail one: registration requires a business and there is no consumer route in. Vehicles are located across several European countries, so confirm the origin country before bidding — it sets the transport cost and the registration work at the other end. Fleet vehicles are high-mileage by nature; read the condition report against the mileage rather than the age.
