Anglia Car Auctions runs two quite different businesses from one Norfolk saleroom. The weekly modern sale is trade stock — main dealer part-exchanges and overage vehicles entered by named groups such as Read Motor Group, Drayton Kia and Just Audi VW, with the consignor published against each catalogue. Alongside it sits a classic calendar that is planned months ahead: classic cars and motorcycles over two days, automobilia, and dedicated registration number sales.

How the bidding works

Modern sales run on a Wednesday evening, classics on planned weekends, and both stream live — the site carries a permanent "watch live" link. The house publishes estimates on classic lots and results afterwards for all four sale types, which makes it easy to calibrate. Registration to bid is required and the site offers several bidding routes, in the room and online.

What to check before you bid

The two catalogues behave differently: modern sales are trade disposals sold as seen, while classics carry estimates and are described in more detail. The saleroom is open every day from 9am for viewing, which for a classic purchase is worth the trip — condition on a thirty-year-old car is the whole of the price.
