Auktionshaus Bickel

Industrie-Auktionshaus Bickel works from Perleberger Straße in Wittstock, in Brandenburg north-west of Berlin, running online industrial auctions. Alongside the sales it publishes something most German auction houses do not: practical guidance on bidding online successfully, aimed at buyers who are new to the format rather than at trade regulars.

What you can buy

• Industrial machinery: production and workshop equipment from clearances.
• Construction and agricultural plant: site and farm machinery from the region.
• Handling equipment: forklifts and warehouse gear.
• Tools and business assets: the remainder of a company clearance.

How the bidding works

Sales run online with a registration step before bidding. The house's own bidding tips are worth reading before your first sale — they cover the mechanics that catch people out, such as how the closing works and what happens when a bid arrives late. Lots are listed with their location, which is not always Wittstock.

What to check before you bid

Confirm where a lot physically sits: an auction house with its own premises may still sell assets standing at a customer's site, and the collection arrangements differ completely. German industrial auction terms are standard — as-is, no warranty, viewing on announced dates, removal on a deadline. Check the buyer's premium and VAT treatment in the conditions attached to the specific sale. Contact is info@auktionshaus-bickel.de.
