Blinto runs online auctions of used machines, vehicles and tools across Sweden, and it publishes the numbers that matter on every lot: the current price and how many bids it has taken. That transparency makes it unusually easy to read — a Volvo EW60E wheeled excavator at 175,000 SEK on 19 bids tells you more than an estimate would.

How the bidding works

Lots close on their own clocks throughout the day — several before nine in the morning, more through the afternoon — with the town shown against each one. You can create a watch (bevakning) for the categories you follow. An account is needed to bid, and the platform handles the sale process for sellers rather than acting as a pure classifieds site.

What to check before you bid

The location on the lot is where you collect from, and Swedish sellers here run from Trelleborg in the far south to Håknäs in the north — a thousand kilometres apart in the same day's closings. Machines are described by the seller; ask for hours, service history and any known faults before bidding on anything expensive. The site is in Swedish.
