CJ Enchères publishes auction notices from French commissaires de justice — the profession that merged the old huissiers and judicial auctioneers. It is a notice board rather than a bidding platform: each entry names the officer running the sale, gives their address, and links through to the full announcement.

How the bidding works

The list separates ventes judiciaires — sales ordered by a court, usually following a liquidation — from ventes volontaires, where an owner chooses to sell. Notices state the date, the time, and whether the sale is in person only; several are explicitly en présentiel uniquement, with viewing an hour before bidding starts. The officer named on the notice is the one to contact, not the portal.

What to check before you bid

Because the sales are run by individual officers, the terms differ from notice to notice — deposit, buyer's costs and payment method are all set locally. Judicial liquidation lots are sold as they stand with no warranty, and collection is normally same-day from the debtor's premises. Everything is in French.
