DAMONLINE — Dansk Auktion & Maskinsalg A/S — runs online machinery auctions from Skalmstrupvej in Stoholm, west of Viborg in central Jutland. It is a working platform rather than an occasional auctioneer: more than 1,300 catalogue numbers were open for bidding when we checked, spread across a couple of dozen simultaneous sales.
What you can buy
- Construction and civil equipment (bygge/anlæg): plant from contractors and site clearances.
- Wood and metal machinery: workshop and production equipment.
- Bankruptcy sales (konkursauktioner): a separate stream for insolvency estates.
- Combined sales (samle auktioner): mixed consignments, usually the largest group by count.
- Special auctions: one-off sales built around a single seller or asset type.
- Office equipment: the fit-out that comes with a business clearance.
How the bidding works
The site shows a live server time, which matters more than it sounds: Danish online auctions close lot by lot against that clock, not against your device. Sales are grouped by type, so you can watch only bankruptcy lots or only construction equipment. Register to bid, and the house publishes a bidding guide (bydevejledning), freight information and an FAQ.
What to check before you bid
Danish auction houses commonly add a buyer's premium and then charge 25% VAT on both the hammer price and that premium — check the conditions before calculating what a lot really costs you. Machinery is sold as it stands, and combined sales in particular gather assets from several sellers, so confirm where each lot physically sits rather than assuming Stoholm. Freight can be arranged but is priced per lot.
