DoAuction is one of the operators accredited to run Italy's vendite telematiche — the electronic judicial sales through which Italian courts dispose of assets. It has been entered in the Ministry of Justice's Register of Telematic Sales Managers since August 2017 under PDG 2. It belongs to Gruppo Edicom, whose network also includes Asteannunci.it, already in this directory, along with the trade title Rivista Aste Giudiziarie and several sister listing channels — so the same court sale may surface under more than one of those brands.

• Real estate (immobili): the largest section, from residential to commercial and industrial premises.
• Movable property (beni mobili): vehicles, machinery and business equipment.
• Intangible assets (beni immateriali): claims, rights and trademarks — a category most auction sites do not carry.

How the bidding works

Participation follows the Italian telematic procedure rather than a simple click-to-bid: you submit an electronic offer, which involves paying the bollo telematico (electronic stamp duty) and filing through the reserved area. The operator publishes manuals for each step — entering sale notices, requesting a viewing of a property, submitting the offer and depositing it — plus a video tutorial and a glossary. There is a delegate manual for the professionals running the sales. The interface is offered in Italian, English, Spanish, French and German, though the binding documents are Italian.

What to check before you bid

Read the individual avviso di vendita, because in Italian judicial sales it sets the deposit, the deadlines and the terms, and those differ from sale to sale. Property is sold in the state it is in, with occupancy and any tenancies stated in the file rather than resolved by the sale. Budget time for the procedure: the offer has to be deposited correctly and by the stated moment, and a technically defective submission is simply excluded.
