Serbian Customs Administration — e-Auctions

This is the Serbian customs administration's own electronic auction system, and it is organised by customs house rather than by category — Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš and Priština, Subotica, Dimitrovgrad, Kragujevac, Šabac, Kruševac, Zrenjanin, Užice, Sombor, Kladovo, Kraljevo and Vršac each run their own sales on their own dates.

What you can buy

• Vehicles (возила) seized at the border or in customs proceedings.
• Goods (роба) — the site tags these as household appliances, trade equipment and industrial equipment.

How the bidding works

Each auction is published in advance with four timestamps: publication, opening, closing and status. Statuses run from у најави (announced) through to completed, and lots do get marked отказан — cancelled — so a scheduled sale is not a guaranteed one. Registration is required, and the site carries both the general conditions of participation and an application user guide.

What to check before you bid

Cancellations are common enough to matter if you are planning a trip; check the status the day before rather than the week before. Customs goods are sold as they stand, and vehicles seized at a border crossing may have been standing for a long time. Everything is in Serbian Cyrillic. Serbia is outside the EU, so anything exported afterwards clears customs again on the way out.
