Pleser is a Zwickau auction house working the insolvency market across Saxony, Thuringia and Saxony-Anhalt. It holds a Versteigerer-Erlaubnis — the German auctioneer's licence — and its sales are notable for how granular they are: rather than one big catalogue, each estate is broken into separate auctions, sometimes starting half an hour apart on the same morning.

How the bidding works

The calendar lists each auction with the address where the goods stand, the date and the start time. Many run from the company's own yard on Mühlenstraße in Werdau, but plenty are on site at the insolvent business — Caaschwitz, Wolfenbüttel, Hessisch Lichtenau, Dresden, Cottbus. Every sale has its own online catalogue, and completed sales stay visible with their catalogues intact.

What to check before you bid

Read the address on the auction, not just the date: a lot in Cottbus and a lot in Werdau are three hours apart and both may be selling the same week. Insolvency goods are sold as they stand, and where a whole works is being cleared the removal deadline belongs to the administrator. The site is in German.
