TOP dražbe indexes public auctions across Slovenia and Croatia, and its category tree is more granular than the official systems it draws from — rights are broken out into trademarks, business shares and receivables, and movables into cars, trucks, motorcycles, agricultural equipment, machines and tools, furniture, electronics and artworks.

How the bidding works

Three streams sit side by side and they behave differently: dražbe (auctions), zbiranje ponudb (collection of offers) and TOP prodaje. There is also a dedicated 2. dražbe section for second-round sales, which is where Slovenian reserve prices come down after a failed first attempt. The portal sells access packages.

What to check before you bid

The second-round section is the most useful part of the site and the one to understand: a Slovenian auction that fails returns with a reduced reserve, and knowing which round a lot is in is worth more than any other single fact about it.
