Vavato runs online industrial auctions from Antwerp, with a steady book of several hundred sales open at once. Much of the supply comes from businesses closing or scaling down — production discontinuations, warehouse clearances and court-ordered foreclosure sales — which is why the lot counts swing from five to three hundred between auctions.
What you can buy
- Agricultural and earthmoving machinery, including tractors.
- Construction plant and site equipment.
- Metalworking and production machinery from closing factories.
- Catering and kitchen equipment.
- Warehouse and transport equipment, attachments and tooling.
- Building materials — tiles, sanitaryware and similar stock.
How the bidding works
Auctions are timed and close on a published clock, with each sale tied to a location or a set of locations. Foreclosure auctions are labelled as such. Lots stay where they are until collection, and many sales span multiple sites, so one auction can mean several pickup addresses.
What to check before you bid
Read the location line before the description: a sale marked "multiple locations" means your winnings may be in different towns and countries. Foreclosure lots come with the limited recourse typical of court sales. Collection windows on industrial sales are short and dismantling is usually the buyer's job — for anything bolted down, price the rigging before the bidding.
