AADE auctions

This is the auction listing of AADE, Greece's Independent Authority for Public Revenue — the tax administration selling assets it has seized for unpaid tax. It is a narrower and more official source than the general enforcement market: the seller is the state, the reason for sale is a tax debt, and the record of the procedure is public. The asset-type filter is worth reading on its own, because it includes categories almost no other European tax authority lists.

How the bidding works

Lots are searchable by auction date, asset type, location of the asset, first-offer price, assessed value and place of auction, and sortable by price or value in either direction. The place of the auction is a field in its own right, which tells you these sales are conducted locally rather than centrally — read it on every lot.

What to check before you bid

A tax seizure gives clean provenance but no warranty: the authority sells what the debtor owned, in the state it is in. On property, occupancy and surviving charges are yours to establish. Note the difference between the first-offer price and the assessed value shown on each listing — the gap is the starting point for judging whether a lot is worth pursuing. The site is Greek only, and the binding notices are legal documents rather than sales particulars.
