BOPA Veilingen

BOPA Veilingen describes itself as an auction broker (veiling makelaar) and works from Ieper in West Flanders, with an office on Oude Vaartstraat and a separate warehouse on Diksmuideweg. That warehouse matters: a house with its own storage can consolidate lots in one place rather than leaving every sale at the seller's premises, which makes collection considerably simpler for a buyer.

What you can buy

• Business inventories: equipment and fittings from companies closing or restructuring.
• Pop-up store stock: a recurring category of retail goods and fittings.
• Hospitality and office equipment: catering kit, furniture and fit-out.
• Tools and workshop material: trade equipment from clearances.

How the bidding works

Register and log in to bid. Lots can be browsed as a list or a gallery, and the site keeps closed auctions visible, which is useful for judging what things actually make before you commit to a number. The interface runs in Dutch, French and English — worth noting in Belgium, where the language of a sale usually follows the region.

What to check before you bid

Confirm per sale whether lots sit in the Ieper warehouse or at the seller's own address, because the two mean very different things for collection. Belgian premium and VAT stacking applies: a buyer's premium plus 21% VAT on both the hammer price and the premium unless stated otherwise. Contact is info@bopaveilingen.be.
