CarsOnNet

CarsOnNet (Carsonnet Sp. z o.o., ul. Odrodzenia 33B, Lubin) trades used cars strictly between businesses: dealers, dealerships, leasing companies, banks and fleet operators, no private buyers. The auction side is fed by post-lease and fleet returns from across Europe, and the live wholesale list is dominated by Danish and Polish cars with a few Romanian units mixed in. The firm has been trading over 15 years and keeps offices in Lubin, Prague (Carsonnet s.r.o.) and Germany.

What you can buy

  • Volume passenger cars: roughly a thousand units at a time, heaviest in Nissan Qashqai, Ford Focus, BMW 1 Series, VW T-Roc and Taigo, SEAT Arona and Skoda Kodiaq, mostly 2023-2026 registrations with median mileage just over 15,000 km.
  • Premium and executive: Audi A3, A6 and Q5, BMW 5 Series and X7, Mercedes-Benz CLA, GLC and GLE, Skoda Superb, Peugeot 508.
  • Budget and city cars: Hyundai i30, SEAT Ibiza, Skoda Fabia, Suzuki Swift, Renault Clio and VW Polo, from roughly 7,400 euro net.
  • Vans and light commercials: Opel Combo, Fiat Scudo, VW Caddy, Ford Transit Custom, Citroen e-Berlingo.
  • Electric and hybrid: about 125 EVs including Kia EV4, VW ID.3 to ID.7, Skoda Enyaq, Polestar 3 and 4 and Tesla Model S, plus a very large mild-hybrid petrol block.
  • Chinese and other Asian marques: Hongqi EHS7 and EH7, MG ZS and HS, plus single-figure counts of Mazda, Honda and Toyota.

How the bidding works

Two channels run in parallel. The wholesale channel is not an auction: stock sits online around the clock with VIN, year, mileage, power, gearbox and fuel, priced net in euro from about 5,400 to 44,900, and both price and volume are negotiable. The auction channel is real-time bidding on hundreds of lots, mainly post-lease and fleet cars, where you set your own maximum with full bid transparency. It runs on a separate portal at carsonnet.dealer360.eu, operated by Sirocco Mobile, and nothing there is visible without a login. Access comes through that portal's own registration form (name, mobile, company NIP and address); the form on carsonnet.com only passes your details to a B2B specialist. Suppliers list free of charge by sending in their car park list. After a purchase you collect the vehicle yourself or order delivery, and the operator helps prepare domestic and export documentation.

What to check before you bid

Prices are quoted net, plus VAT where applicable, so get the VAT status of each car in writing before counting your resale margin. Inspection reports are not universal: every Danish car has one on BCA's image server and most Polish cars a Macadam report, but around 170 listings, all Polish or Romanian, carry no report at all and only an "ask for photos" enquiry link, so budget for a viewing or a paid inspection. VINs are published, so run your own history and damage check, and watch the small tail of 2005-2022 cars running to 290,000 km behind that young median. Buyers in Poland can switch to a separate PLN gross list that includes transport, excise and 23 percent VAT, converted at a published NBP rate whose date is worth checking. On electric cars ask for a battery health certificate: the group's own Voltified Energy issues one under its BHV index, and an unknown traction battery is the biggest hidden cost here. The site advertises 27 EU markets while the live list is three countries, so price in transport from Denmark or Romania, and settle deposits, buyer commission and collection deadlines in writing, since none of them appear on the public pages.
