e-Auctions Armenia

This is the official auction site of Armenia's State Property Management Committee, and it is where the state and Armenian municipalities dispose of what they own. It is a separate channel from the enforcement auctions at Harkadir and from the police sales at auction.mia.gov.am — three different bodies, three different sites, and no shared calendar between them.

What you can buy

• Land, which dominates the catalogue — village plots in the Aragatsotn, Vayots Dzor and other marzes, with starting prices often under a million dram.
• Buildings and premises, sold outright or leased.
• Vehicles disposed of by state bodies.
• Electrical equipment and other movable state property.
• Shareholdings in state-owned companies.

How the bidding works

Every lot carries a lot number, a publication date, a start time and a calculated end time — typically five days apart — plus a starting price in dram. Sections split the catalogue by what is being disposed of: alienation of real estate, lease of real estate, alienation of vehicles, alienation of electrical equipment, share alienation and other movable property. Registration is open to both individuals and legal entities, and the signup form accepts foreign countries, so a non-resident can at least open an account.

What to check before you bid

The site is in Armenian only, and the lot descriptions are addresses rather than photographs — you are buying a cadastral description, so the address is worth checking on a map before the auction starts. Land is the bulk of the catalogue and much of it is rural; access roads and utilities are not part of the listing. Payment and transfer follow Armenian state property rules, which is worth reading up on before a first bid rather than after.
