Lainvoima

Lainvoima is a Finnish auction platform built around one source: konkurssipesät, bankruptcy estates. Where general auction sites mix insolvency lots in with everything else, this one is organised entirely by estate — each sale names the failed company and its business identity code, so you can see exactly whose assets you are looking at and look the company up.
What you can buy
- Bankruptcy estate assets: the working contents of failed Finnish businesses, sold estate by estate.
- Property and business operations: a separate section for real estate and going concerns.
- Collectable lots: items listed specifically as available for pickup at a stated location.
How the bidding works
The site publishes an auction calendar (huutokauppakalenteri) alongside the live sales, plus its sale terms and instructions. Each estate lot carries the pickup town, which matters in a country this size — a lot in Kemi is a very different proposition from one in Oulu if you are driving. Register to take part.
What to check before you bid
Bankruptcy estates in Finland are administered by an appointed trustee working to a timetable, and the standard consequences follow: no warranty, no history, and a collection window that is fixed rather than negotiable. Read the sale terms (myyntiehdot) published on the site before your first bid. Naming the estate is genuinely useful — the business identity code lets you check what the company did, which tells you more about the condition of its equipment than most lot descriptions will.
