Azitis is a Romanian platform for distressed assets: property, plant and stock coming out of insolvency, liquidation and enforcement. Lots are priced in euro and name the selling company, which makes it easier to trace what is being sold and why than on most enforcement noticeboards.
What you can buy
- Land, including plots with approved zoning.
- Buildings and industrial premises, sometimes with the land they stand on.
- Machinery and installations.
- Stock and materials, including waste and scrap.
- Furniture, office and IT equipment.
- Going concerns, listed as turnkey businesses.
How the bidding works
Each lot shows a start date and an expiry countdown alongside its euro price, the county it sits in and the company disposing of it. Registration is required to bid. The catalogue is organised by asset category rather than by insolvency case, so a single estate can appear as several unrelated-looking lots.
What to check before you bid
Romanian land and buildings need a check against the land registry for encumbrances, access and zoning — an approved PUZ mentioned in a listing is a planning fact, not a guarantee of what you may build. Insolvency sales run under a court-approved procedure with its own deadlines and deposit rules, stated per lot. For plant and stock, confirm whether the price includes VAT and who bears the cost of removal.
