Leilosoc — homepage

Leilosoc is a Portuguese auction house, part of the Isegoria Capital group, selling more than 5,000 lots a week across property, vehicles, machinery and general assets. It runs both electronic auctions (leilão eletrónico) and traditional sales in the room (leilão presencial), and operates from central services in Porto with logistics centres at Recarei near Paredes in the north and Sacavém near Lisbon in the south, plus offices in Leiria and the Azores. The group also trades in Spain and Mozambique and runs sales in Angola, so lot locations are not always Portuguese.

What you can buy

  • Property (imóveis): the flagship category — houses and apartments, plots and development land, and occasionally something unusual such as a private island in the Ria de Aveiro.
  • Industrial equipment and machinery: whole production units sold lot by lot, for example a complete metalworking plant catalogued across 118 lots.
  • Vehicles: cars and commercial vehicles from company disposals and enforcement.
  • Technology and office: IT equipment, furniture and fit-out.
  • Art and collectibles: paintings, decorative items and collections.
  • Nautical and rights: boats and marine equipment, plus credit rights and other legal assets.

How the bidding works

Register on the site to bid. Every listing states whether it is an electronic or an in-person sale and shows a closing date; lots run to individual deadlines rather than a single weekly close. Many lot references are court case numbers — a reference in the form 3489/24.9T8FNC identifies the proceeding a lot comes from — which tells you that a substantial part of the catalogue is judicial and insolvency stock rather than voluntary consignments. Alongside the auctions, the Quiosque Leilosoc channel carries direct listings offered ahead of the room.

What to check before you bid

Where a lot carries a case number, the terms come from the proceeding: deposits, payment windows and the condition in which the asset transfers are set by the administrator or the court, and property may be sold occupied or encumbered. Read the individual sale's conditions and the general conditions of sale published on the site. Viewing arrangements differ between the two logistics centres and the seller's own premises, so confirm where an item physically sits before bidding — the Porto address is the office, not the warehouse. The site is Portuguese-first with some multilingual navigation. Central services are on +351 228 346 550, the northern logistics centre on +351 225 193 200, and general enquiries at geral@leilosoc.com.
