Unpaid social security contributions in Spain are enforced by the Tesorería General de la Seguridad Social, and what it seizes it sells. This is its own searchable register of those assets — a channel separate from the tax agency's and from ordinary judicial sales, and one that most buyers never think to check.
What you can buy
- Rural land (finca rústica).
- Urban property (finca urbana).
- Vehicles.
- Vessels.
- Other movable property.
How the bidding works
The register works as a guided search: you pick the asset types you are interested in, then narrow by geographic scope, and it returns the seized assets currently offered. The sale itself follows social security enforcement procedure, conducted by the relevant collection unit, with the conditions set out per asset.
What to check before you bid
As with any Spanish enforcement sale, the register entry is a starting point and the land registry is the authority on charges and occupancy. Check whether a property is occupied before bidding — eviction in Spain is a separate process at the buyer's cost. The site is in Spanish and its interface is dated, but the data behind it is official.
