Ulosottolaitos — Finnish Enforcement Authority

Ulosottolaitos is Finland's National Enforcement Authority, the state body that collects debts by seizing and selling assets. Its sales notices page is the official source for those sales — not a commercial platform, not a directory, but the authority's own publication of what it is disposing of and when.

How the bidding works

Finnish enforcement sales are run by the authority itself, and the format varies with the asset: some are online, some are held at a local enforcement office. Each notice carries the date, the format, the viewing arrangement and the terms. Related sales also appear on the commercial platform Huutokaupat.com, which the authority uses for part of its movable-property disposals — but the notice on this site is the authoritative one.

What to check before you bid

Enforcement sales in Finland transfer the asset free of the debtor's charges only where the notice says so — the terms of each sale set out what carries over, and for property that is the single most important paragraph. The site runs in Finnish, Swedish, English and three Sámi languages, but individual sale notices are usually in Finnish. Payment deadlines are short and firm.
