Veacom

Veacom is an online auction portal for used construction and special-purpose machinery, run by VeaCom s.r.o. from Strakonická 3367 in Prague-Smíchov, with sister companies registered in Slovakia (Trnava), Poland (Katowice) and Hungary (Győr). The platform describes itself as primarily intended for professional traders, and the machines come from established contractors in construction, mining, energy, municipal services and agriculture across Central Europe. Sales run as scheduled auction windows rather than a continuous catalogue — the auction advertised when we checked ran from 7 to 9 September 2026.

What you can buy

• Excavators: tracked and wheeled machines from Volvo, Caterpillar, JCB, Doosan and New Holland Kobelco, typically 2005-2020 with recorded operating hours.
• Dozers and earthmoving: Komatsu, Dressta, Hanomag and New Holland crawler dozers, several of them high-hour machines from heavy civil work.
• Compaction and road plant: landfill and soil compactors such as the Bomag BC series.
• Demolition and drilling: remote-controlled demolition robots and drilling rigs with their attachments.
• Attachments and accessories: sold alongside the parent machine or as separate lots.

How the bidding works

You register and log in before bidding; the portal is aimed at trade buyers rather than the general public, so expect to identify your business. Every lot carries a starting price (vyvolávací cena) that the machine will not sell below — in the catalogue we saw these ran from about CZK 99,000 for a 1995 Hanomag dozer to CZK 1,364,275 for a 2014 Volvo EC300DL. The interface switches between eight languages (Czech, German, English, Hungarian, Polish, Russian, Slovak and Ukrainian) and quotes starting prices in the currency matching the language, so the same Dressta lot appears as CZK 299,000 or EUR 12,678 depending on how you are browsing. Check which currency your bid is actually placed in before you commit.

What to check before you bid

Lots are listed with year of manufacture and hours on the clock (MTH), which for this class of machine matters more than any photograph — several of the dozers on offer had 15,000 to 18,000 hours behind them. Because auctions run in scheduled windows, there is nothing to bid on between sales; sign up for notifications or check the announced dates rather than expecting daily stock. Buyer fees, VAT treatment and collection terms are not published on the public pages, so request the auction terms in writing before your first bid — and if you are buying from outside Czechia, settle transport and export paperwork in advance, since machines of this size are not something you collect casually.
