Auktioner.dk is a Danish online platform specialising in bankruptcy sales, operated from Strandvejen 60 in Hellerup north of Copenhagen. It is built around the people who generate the stock — the site has separate sections for buyers, for sellers, and specifically for receivers and estate administrators (kuratorer og bobestyrere) — and lots are filed both by asset type and by region, so you can see immediately whether something is on Zealand, Funen or in Jutland.
What you can buy
- Operating equipment (driftsmidler): the machines and tools a business ran on.
- Stock (varelager): usually the largest category by count — inventory from failed retailers and wholesalers.
- Jewellery and watches: a recurring stream, including graded diamonds and gold pieces listed with their appraised value against the current bid.
- Vehicles: passenger cars and occasional classics — an MG MGB Cabriolet from 1975 was open at DKK 32,000 when we checked.
- Receivables (fordringer): debt claims sold as assets in their own right.
- Fixtures, electronics and intangibles: the remainder of an estate, catalogued separately.
How the bidding works
Create a user and bid online; every lot shows the current bid and a countdown in days, hours and minutes. Where an item has been professionally appraised the listing states the valuation alongside the live bid, which makes the gap visible — a diamond piece appraised at DKK 18,000 was standing at DKK 2,700 mid-auction. Filters cover both category and region.
What to check before you bid
An appraisal is not a guarantee of resale value; it is the estate's own valuation and the market decides the rest. Bankruptcy lots are sold as they stand, with the trustee unable to warrant condition or history, and collection is from wherever the estate's assets are — the Hellerup address is the office, not a warehouse. Receivables in particular are for buyers who understand what they are acquiring: the price reflects the risk that the debt is never collected. Confirm the buyer's premium and VAT treatment in the conditions before bidding, and expect Danish-language documentation.
