Auktionshuset dab A/S splits its catalogue into two streams that tell you exactly what it does: konkursauktioner — bankruptcy sales — and overskudsauktioner, surplus sales from businesses that are still trading. The first comes from trustees on a court timetable, the second from companies clearing space, and the terms attached to each differ accordingly.

How the bidding works

Create an account to bid. Lots can be filtered by Danish region (landsdele), which is the practical filter in a country where collection is your responsibility and the distance between Jutland and Zealand is a ferry crossing or a long drive. The interface runs in Danish and English, and the house publishes its conditions, freight arrangements and help pages separately.

What to check before you bid

Read which stream a lot belongs to. Surplus lots come from a trading company that can answer questions about the asset; bankruptcy lots come from a trustee who took over days ago and generally cannot. Both are sold as they stand. Danish premium plus 25% VAT on hammer and premium applies unless the sale says otherwise, and collection windows on bankruptcy lots are set by the trustee, not the auction house.
