EÉR — the Elektronikus Értékesítési Rendszer, or Electronic Sales System — is the state platform through which assets in Hungarian liquidation proceedings must be sold. It is operated under the Supervisory Authority for Regulated Activities, and its significance is procedural rather than commercial: a Hungarian liquidator disposing of a failed company's assets is required to run the sale here, so this is where that stock legally surfaces first.
What comes up
- Company assets from liquidation: machinery, equipment and stock.
- Real estate held by companies in liquidation.
- Vehicles from the same estates.
- Claims and other rights sold as part of the estate.
How the bidding works
Sales are published as eljárások — procedures — and can be filtered by procedure type, start and end date, legal basis, price, status and asset type. That legal-basis filter matters: different Hungarian procedures carry different rules on deposits and on how the winner is determined. Registration is required, and the system carries its own payment flow, which is occasionally taken down for scheduled maintenance announced on the front page.
What to check before you bid
This is a legal procedure with a web interface, not a shopping site: the terms come from the liquidation, the deadlines are statutory, and a defective submission is simply excluded. A Hungarian liquidator sells the estate's position and knows little about the equipment's history. Everything is in Hungarian, including the binding documents, and non-resident buyers should budget for a local adviser rather than translation alone.
