Hungary runs its auctions through three separate official systems — the bailiffs' chamber (MBVK), the national asset manager (MNV) and the tax authority (NAV) — and Licit.info pulls all three into one place. It splits the result into property auctions and movables, then breaks the movables down further than any of the source systems do.

How the bidding works

Each listing shows the opening price, the minimum price, the current price, the auction end and — importantly — the source system it came from. Bidding happens on that source system, under its own registration and deposit rules, which differ between MBVK, MNV and NAV.

What to check before you bid

The source field is the one to read first: a NAV tax auction and an MBVK bailiff auction have different deposit deadlines and different consequences if you win and cannot pay. The aggregator's map search is the fastest way to find property, but the official notice is what binds. The site is in Hungarian.
