How the bidding works

What to check before you bid

Cross-border is the normal case here rather than the exception, so settle the VAT position before bidding: an intra-EU business purchase is invoiced under reverse charge only against a VAT number validated in advance. Machinery sells as it stands from the premises being cleared, which in this market is often a plant in a small town rather than a central depot — establish the address and the removal deadline before you bid, not after.
