GİB — Hacizli Mal İlanları

The Gelir İdaresi Başkanlığı is the Turkish Revenue Administration, and this is its register of seized assets going to sale. It is a separate channel from the judicial sales on UYAP and from the state industrial disposals at MKE — three different bodies, three different systems.

What you can buy

• Housing and commercial premises (konut-işyeri).
• Building plots and land (arsa-arazi).
• Ships (gemi) — an unusual category to find in a tax register.
• Vehicles (araç).
• Other movables (menkul).

How the bidding works

The register is a search rather than a bidding floor: you filter by asset type, by province and district — every Turkish province is listed — by start and end date, by price range and by tender type. The sale itself is conducted by the tax office holding the asset, under Turkish tax enforcement procedure.

What to check before you bid

The tender type filter matters: Turkish tax sales run in more than one format and the deposit and payment rules differ. Assets are sold as they stand and the notice is the description. Everything is in Turkish. For property, occupancy and any charges are set out in the notice rather than assumed away.
