AUOI is the North Macedonian state agency that manages property confiscated in criminal proceedings, and it sells that property itself by electronic public bidding. This is the first of two North Macedonian platforms in the directory and the one to use for confiscated assets specifically — insolvency estates go through the Central Registry's e-Auction system instead.
What you can buy
- Cars — the live list has run to Opel Astras, Ford Fusions and similar everyday vehicles.
- Trailers and semi-trailers, including Schmitz curtainsiders.
- Property — apartments and other real estate confiscated by the state.
How the bidding works
Each lot runs on a countdown to the auction start. The agency publishes the procedural documents openly on the same page: the bidding instructions in Macedonian and Albanian, a short user guide, the application forms for immovable and movable property, a notary's declaration, and the payment slips — a 10% deposit to take part, then 93% and 7% instalments once the sale is concluded. That is more of the mechanics published up front than most state platforms manage.
What to check before you bid
Read the упатство before registering: the deposit and the notarised declaration have to be in place before bidding, and both take time. Everything is in Macedonian with Albanian versions of the key documents. Confiscated goods are sold as they stand. North Macedonia is outside the EU, so exporting a vehicle bought here is an import at the other end.
