This is the third distinct North Macedonian state auction channel in the directory, and it is worth knowing which is which. The Public Revenue Office (UJP) sells property seized for unpaid tax; the Agency for Managing Confiscated Property sells assets confiscated in criminal cases; and the Central Registry's system handles bankruptcy estates. Three bodies, three portals, no shared catalogue.
What you can buy
- Immovable property seized in tax enforcement.
- Movable property — vehicles, equipment and business assets.
How the bidding works
Registration runs in four documented steps, and the portal is explicit about the deadline that matters: you must complete registration no later than the last day for paying the deposit, which is stated in point 1 of each sale announcement. Miss that and the lot is closed to you regardless of what you would pay. Confirmation arrives by email to the address you registered.
What to check before you bid
Work backwards from the deposit deadline in the announcement rather than from the auction date — the registration, the confirmation email and the deposit all have to be in place before it. Everything is in Macedonian, including the user guide. Tax-seized property is sold as it stands, and North Macedonia is outside the EU, which matters if you intend to export.
