OK dražby is a Czech online auction platform used by executors and insolvency administrators to run their sales, operated from Jiráskova 398 in Rokycany. It has a long track record by the standards of this market — more than 66,000 auctions completed — and publishes upcoming sales well ahead, with a countdown, the lowest acceptable bid and the district the asset sits in shown on every card.
What you can buy
- Houses (domy) and flats (byty): residential property from enforcement and insolvency across the Czech regions.
- Land (pozemky): plots sold individually or with buildings.
- Commercial property: such as a restaurant with a garage and hand car wash in Mělník, opening at CZK 21,800,000.
- Vehicles (auta): cars and commercial vehicles — a Ford Transit flatbed in Litoměřice opening at CZK 1,000, a DAF FA LF 55.220 truck in the same district.
- Other (ostatní): the miscellaneous category, which in the Czech system genuinely varies — a CZ 75 B 40th Anniversary firearm was listed at CZK 75,000 when we checked.
How the bidding works
Register and sign in to bid. Each auction has a published start time — the platform lists sales days or weeks in advance with a countdown — and a lowest acceptable bid (nejnižší podání) below which the lot will not sell. Some lots are flagged as exclusive. There is a separate area for auctioneers who want to run their sales on the platform, which is a reminder that the operator provides the infrastructure while the executor or administrator remains the seller.
What to check before you bid
The auction notice (dražební vyhláška) issued by the executor is the binding document: it sets the deposit, the payment deadline, whether the property is occupied and which encumbrances survive. Czech enforcement sales require the deposit to be lodged before bidding opens, and the deadlines are short. Some categories carry their own legal requirements — a firearm lot is not something you simply win and collect — so check what qualification the notice demands before bidding.
