Exdražby is one of the two systems that carry most Czech judicial and executor auctions, and its own numbers are the argument for using it: more than 79,000 auctions and public tenders completed, 81 auctioneers bidding through it, and close to a hundred thousand registered bidders. At the time of checking it listed 647 upcoming sales with two running live.

What you can buy

• Real estate — the overwhelming majority of the catalogue, from flats and houses to non-residential units and forest plots.
• Movables, a much smaller category covering vehicles, equipment and household goods.
• Companies sold as going concerns.
• Receivables and other legal assets.

How the bidding works

The catalogue is split by state: Připravované (upcoming), Probíhající (running), Ukončené (finished) and Předražky — the distinctively Czech step where a higher offer can be made after the hammer falls, within a statutory window. Each lot states the auction type (executor's forced sale, insolvency sale or voluntary public tender), the region, the deposit (dražební jistota) and the exact start and end times. Alerts by email are available once you register.

What to check before you bid

The předražek rule is the one that catches outsiders: winning the auction does not always end the matter, because a qualifying higher offer can follow. Read the notice for whether it applies. Deposits are substantial — commonly tens of thousands of koruna — and must clear before bidding opens. Everything is in Czech, and the auction notice, not the summary card, is the binding document.
