The Czech Financial Administration seizes property for unpaid tax and sells it itself, through its own electronic auction system rather than through the commercial platforms that carry executor and insolvency sales. That makes it a separate channel from Exdražby and OKdražby, with its own registration and its own rules.

How the bidding works

The administration publishes an auction overview, the electronic auction system itself and an FAQ. The detail worth planning around is the identity check: the site maintains a list of offices where your identity can be verified (seznam pracovišť pro ověření identity), and that verification is a precondition of bidding. A separate section offers surplus state property that is not being auctioned.

What to check before you bid

Start with the identity verification, not with the lot — it is done in person at a listed office and cannot be arranged at the last minute. Tax enforcement sales transfer the debtor's position, so the land register is the document that tells you what you are actually buying. The site is in Czech, with a partial English version that does not extend to the auction notices.
