Sweden sells vehicles through three quite separate channels. The Enforcement Authority disposes of what it has seized, directly and on its own platform. Commercial online houses handle bankruptcy estates and company fleets, usually as part of mixed catalogues rather than dedicated car sales. And specialist car auctions run their own sales for trade and private buyers alike. Registration is generally open to private individuals, which is not true everywhere in Europe. The thing to establish before bidding is VAT: EU companies can avoid Swedish VAT on the lot and the premium, but only against a valid VAT number and proof the goods left the country.
